Curate, Organize, and Track!
The Booktrovert Library is your personal home for every story in your life. Whether you’re organizing books you’ve claimed on the site or tracking your own personal collection, your Library is built to help you curate your reading life with the nuance it deserves.
Choosing Your View
You can toggle between two distinct ways to look at your shelves:
- Card View: This is the default visual experience where you’ll see book covers, titles, and authors. From here, you can manage your Stacks, check the status of a book, or start reading a claimed book.
-
List View: If you love the details, List View provides a clean, spreadsheet-style look at your collection. You'll find additional info like ISBNs, publication dates, and series details.
- A quick tip: For the best experience, we recommend using List View on a desktop or tablet. It isn’t currently optimized for smaller mobile screens, but we’re working on making it just as cozy for your phone soon!
Ready to customize your view? Learn how to filter, sort, and rearrange your columns in List View here.
Creating Your Stacks
You can build your Library using our default stacks or create your own custom stacks to organize your books exactly how you like. Looking to bring your whole reading history under one roof? You can import your books from Goodreads, The StoryGraph, or your own custom CSV directly into your Library.
Rate Your Books
You can add Star Ratings to any book in your Library using precise quarter-star increments (.25, .5, .75) for your personal records.
Managing Claimed Books
To help you easily spot books you’ve claimed or won from Booktrovert, look for the Booktrovert logo in the upper right corner of the cover or go directly to your Claimed Books stack. You can:
- Open and read them immediately in the web reader.
- Send them to your Kindle or Kobo, if available.
