To get started designing your Shelf, tap on Arcade, where you can select Shelfie Showcase from your Booktrovert Arcade!
Tap on Design a Shelf to create your new Shelf.
Tap the plus sign to select a Shelf design, add book covers, stickers, or decals. Plus, you can add in your own custom text!
There are multiple Shelf designs to choose from:
If you want to add books to your Shelf, you can easily search for any book.
When you locate a book you’d like to use, simply tap on it and it will be added to your Shelf, where you can adjust the size and placement.
You can also add stickers and decals!
Simply tap on Add Stickers and Decals, select the design you’d like to use, and tap on it to add it to your Shelf. Once added, rotate, resize, or move it anywhere on your Shelf. You can even change the colors if you selected a sticker!
If you’d like to add Text to your Shelf, tap on Add Text.
Here you can enter your text, change your font, change the fill and stroke color, as well as change the stroke weight.
You can adjust the size of any object on your Shelf by simply tapping on the object, and you will see buttons appear that allow you to adjust the size or rotate it easily.
When you’re done designing your Shelf, tap the Save button to save your design.
Once you’ve saved it, you can always go back to your Shelf to continue making edits. Plus, if you start customizing a shelf and decide you’d like to swap the Shelf design out for a new one, you can easily do so, and your covers, stickers, and text will remain!
If you want to share your shelf on your social channels, tap the download icon. Just be sure to note where you are saving your downloaded board so you can easily locate it when you’re ready to share on social.
*When downloading your Shelf designs to your computer/device, be sure to note where the file is being saved so you can easily locate it again. To help, please note that files should download with the file naming convention of “Booktrovert_Shelf_month_day_year”
